Locating Victory Ridge and the EMP Trap
Before you can interact with the electrical network, you must reach the quest area at Victory Ridge. This region is positioned in the northern sector of the Dam Battlegrounds, just north of the Hydroponic Dome Complex. Spotting the central EMP structure is straightforward due to its prominent wiring and distinct central tower.
Approaching the zone requires caution because aerial ARC drones frequently patrol the surrounding skies. Clearing nearby threats before attempting interactions prevents unnecessary damage while you are stuck in button animations. Once the immediate area is secure, activate the base panel of the trap to unlock the switch objectives.
Finding the First Power Switch
The primary objective after inspecting the device is finding the initial control box. Look directly north from the EMP trap toward the small elevated terrain nearby. The first switch sits at the top of a rocky mound overlooking the central clearing.
Climb up the rocks to locate the yellow control unit mounted on the surface. Interact with the box to flip the breaker and update your mission log. Completing this first step allows you to move smoothly toward the remaining two switches.
Disabling the Remaining Power Switches
After shutting down the northern switch, head east toward a ruined multi-story building. Climb the exterior structures or rubble to reach the upper level where the second yellow switch resides. Flip this second breaker before descending back to the ground level.
The final switch is located to the south of the main EMP device. Follow the yellow hanging power cable extending along the terrain toward the southern pathway. Turn off the last breaker at the base of the utility pole to complete the sequence.
Finalizing the Straight Record Mission
With all three breakers offline, return to the primary EMP trap in the clearing. Interact with the central control box one final time to power down the device permanently. Deactivating the mechanism completes the quest immediately without requiring a successful extraction.
